Harry Potter Predictions
Ok - we're done to the wire. It's time for my FOR REAL predictions - here we go!
(This is the obligatory part were I tell you not to read the following if you haven't read books 1-6, as I give away too much information. May I also mention, if you have not read 1-6 by now, and you've got any intelligence at all - you've got two days before it all breaks lose!)
1. Deathly Hallows will be dedicated (or "in memory") to her mother.
2. Characters Who Will Die: Hagrid, Lupin, Tonks, Kingsley Shaklebolt, Moody, Wormtail, Voldemort, a load of Death Eaters and a Weasley or two (but not Ron!)
3. Harry will travel to the world of the dead/the "New Earth"/the heavenly diminsion, but he will come back to the land of the living/the "Old Earth"/the here and now.
4. "The Deathly Hallows" has more than one meaning - and one of those meanings is "The Deathly Process of Sanctification" or if you will, "if you would gain your life, you must lose it."
5. Snape is GOOD! Well, you know - on the good team. As for him being nasty to Harry, he probably is not necessarily the nicest fellow you'd ever meet, BUT I believe he was storing up memories of "Harry-Hatred" for Voldemort, so that the Dark Lord may use Occlumency on Snape and find ample evidence of Snape's "loyalty" (as Voldy mostly believes - though clearly he needed more evidence as he set Snape up to kill Dumbledore - oh yes, he did.)
6. Time Travel - oh yeah baby. The bottles told me so.
7. The Dragon seen on the cover of the US Delux edition IS an Antipodean Opaleye. It is either an animagus [Draco! Think Eustace from Narnia!] or some sort of angel-type figure - supernatural as in spiritual. The dragon will carry the trio either figuratively or literaly from the our world to the world beyond - in otherwords, the dragon is the link between the two antipodal points of our world and heaven. Or both...though angel Draco will be very different...
8. The symbol on the spine of the UK version of DH is a circle with a line running through it contained within a triangle. The circle with the line represents a sphere with antipodal points - antipodal points are those points on the exterior of a sphere which are connected by a line that runs through the center of the sphere. Thus there are endless antipodal points, but always in pairs. The triangle represents God in some form or fashion - so, let's all sing, "He's got the whole world in his hands..."
9. Lily's secret is that she knew the secret above in number 8. She must have worked in the Department of Mysteries and studied death and the life beyond. The symbol will probably be discovered by the trio in some of Lily's writings or possessions.
10. Hogwarts will reopen. (And the new DADA professor will be...umm...umm...Bill? Victor Krum? Harry?)
11. Yes, Ron and Hermione. Yes, Harry and Ginny. Yes, Tonks and Lupin (a double wedding with Fleur and Bill?)
12. Either Snape's mother is Irma Pince, the librarian, or his wife is Professor Sinistra, the Astronomy Professor - or BOTH.
13. Draco turns to the good side, breaking his father's strangle-hold over him.
14. Harry is a horcrux - that is to say, Voldemort is inside him, tainting him. He will have a "rebirth" experience where his soul is purified of Voldemort and reunited with his body.
15. There IS a hidden metamorphmagus!!!
16. "That awful boy" that Petunia saw with Lily was SNAPE!
Okay Dokey - there they are. We'll see who's right before long!
