One Earring - Sad And Lonely

Tacojaney once told me about some article that wrote up what the desks of various writers looked like - it reminded me of JKRowling's virtual desk at her website, with all the gumwrappers and wads of paper...

So looking around the Johnson Center of Activity, here's what I've got going on:

1) STARBUCKS - the RED cup! (Why does that matter?)
2) Spray bottle full of water to spray the naughty kitty when he claws at my drapes
3) Kleenex - both used and unused (sorry Pat)
4) Matches
5) A glass
6) A Dasani water bottle
7) Cell phone
8) "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban"
9) Drawings of a farmhouse in Kansas
10) Frank's RedHot Cayenne Pepper Sauce
11) A pile of unpaid bills
12) "The Mind of the Maker"
13) "The Three A.M. Epiphony"
14) "Retarded Isn't Stupid, Mom" (Really - that's the name of the book - it's actually for one of my classes...)
15) Two writing magazines.
16) Three spiral notebooks - not full
17) $2. 78 in pocket change
18) A 2006 desk calendar with nothing written in it - but wonderful Ansel Adam pictures - and I always turn the page to the right date.
19) A quote by Leo Tolstoy "Remember then: there is only one time that is important - Now! It is the most important time because it is the only time we have any power." (A questionable quote, now that we have String Theory)
20) One earring - sad and lonely
21) A clock I've had for three years but has never worked
22) Eye-glasses
23) Deck of cards
24) A picture of the band I was in at Baylor
25) A rock
