Oh, It's Me

Hmm...how does one begin again?

Do you herald your sunrise with trumpets and banners,
Or just drink your coffee and get on to work?

Pardon me, I just thought I'd post a post.

What's the deal with this whole "fully human" thing? Do you know what I'm talking about? When we ask each other:

Why are we here? What's the purpose? What does God want from us?

We've begun answering that question by saying that the purpose is to be "fully human."

And to be fair, that is such a vague statement, that it could very well work as a plausible answer - well for anything - but most good people say "fully human" implying that our job is to become that which God wanted us to be in the beginning, and by so doing, we will find ourselves in right positions to all other things.

But here's the thing...

Do you know anyone who woke up at 4:30 in the morning because they couldn't wait to get started being "fully human"?

Yeah.

It's a pretty passionless goal. Or at the very least, it is a goal quite susceptible to this hypothetical budding human's sleeping habits.

I think I'll take a nap.
